Lynn Lilley, Library Information Specialist
I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. Graduated from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC) in 1983. I began my library career at Savannah Middle School in Grifton, NC and was named Teacher of the Year in 1986/87 school year. My husband’s job brought us to Tennessee at the end of 1992. On my first week in Nashville I was hired to finish out the school year at Una Elementary for a librarian on medical leave. In August 1993 I was hired as librarian at McGavock High School when I am still serving today. I have served as treasurer for the Tennessee Library Association, Tennessee Association of School Librarians and TENN-SHARE.
